Delete your account
You are always in control of your data.
You can permanently delete your Datexpats account and all the personal data linked to it. This cannot be undone.
Delete from the app (fastest)
- Open Datexpats and go to the Profile tab.
- Open Settings, then Privacy & Security.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Delete by email
If you cannot access the app, email privacy@datexpats.com from the phone number or with the phone number on your account, and ask us to delete it. We will verify the request and confirm once it is done.
What gets deleted
We delete your profile, photos, matches, messages, and account details within 30 days of your request. Your live selfie and any biometric verification data are already deleted at the point of verification, so there is nothing further to remove there.
What we may keep
We keep only the minimum we are required to: a limited record where an account was banned for safety reasons, or where the law requires us to retain something. We explain this in our Privacy Policy.
