Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Atlantic Blue Solutions Limited ("we", "us", "our") and govern your use of the Datexpats app and website. They also serve as the end user licence agreement for the app. By creating an account you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Datexpats.

1. Who can use Datexpats

You must be at least 18 years old to use Datexpats. By using the app you confirm that you are 18 or older, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you will keep it accurate.

2. Your account

You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your phone secure. One person, one account. Do not impersonate anyone or create a profile for someone else.

3. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

• harass, threaten, defame, or abuse another person;
• post content that is hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable;
• post content involving anyone under 18;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent who you are or where you are;
• solicit money, advertise, spam, or use the app for any commercial purpose;
• attempt to defeat the verification or location checks, or use the app through an emulator or falsified location;
• collect or scrape other users' data, or attempt to break, overload, or reverse engineer the service.

4. Content moderation and reporting

You can report or block any user from their profile, your matches, or a chat. We review reports, and we may remove content, suspend, or permanently ban any account that breaks these terms, with or without notice. We may also remove content or accounts to comply with the law or to protect users. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and text you post. You grant us a limited licence to host, store, and display that content to operate the service. You are responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the right to share it.

6. Verification

Verification, by live selfie and location check, is required before you can see matches or exchange messages. Verification helps keep the community real, but we do not guarantee the identity, intentions, or conduct of any user. Always use your own judgement and meet safely.

7. Subscriptions and payment

Datexpats may offer a paid subscription. If you subscribe, payment is taken through your app store account under that store's terms, and subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your app store account settings.

8. Safety

Datexpats helps you meet people, but your safety is your own responsibility. Never send money to anyone you meet on the app. Meet in public, tell someone where you are going, and report anyone who makes you uncomfortable.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for the conduct of other users or for any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from within the app or via our account deletion page. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.
